The Practice can undertake responsibility for every phase of a project, from feasibility and economic appraisal, throughout outline and detail design, preparation of working drawings and tender documents, supervision of construction through to commissioning and hand over, together with project management and cost control.

Geographically the office covers the entire United Kingdom.

We are members of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering and acts in accordance with its Conditions of Engagement.

We extensively use modern technology for the preparation of its designs and drawings, which are all produced using AutoCAD software with full Emailing facilities being available.

Robert Stone Associates- Our History

The origins of Robert Stone Associates lie with Lieut-Col Herbert Bateman who, as early as 1933, operated a Consulting Engineers practice in Norwich. The firm was taken over in 1974 by John Dossor and Partners, a national practice, having offices in York and Worcester. The office then operated successfully as one of the firm's regional offices providing services to clients in the East Anglian area. The office then changed name to Dossor East and has since 1993 operated as an Independent firm providing services to clients across the United Kingdom. In 2001 the firm changed its name to Robert Stone Associates.

The firm provides services to a range of both small and large scale end user clients including private owners and organisations such as the National Trust, Lotus, National Grid, EDF Energy, Coalite Smokeless Fuels, Norwich City Football Club and many others.
